Executive
coaching is for anyone who wants to raise their game and become more
influential in business. The pre-requisites for success are that you
have something that you want to achieve, and that you have decided to
invest in yourself. Corporate clients come from all market sectors,
and typical work areas include:
My aim in executive coaching is to empower you and your top team to achieve outstanding success, and to do this swiftly. Some frequently named desires include:
We identify the desired outcomes, the skills that you will need in order to achieve them and any potential blocks. Then we get to work, walking in, round and through your chosen subjects, developing more empowering beliefs and new behaviours as we go.
Meetings 1 and 2: This is non-obligatory get-to-know-you time, in which I explain my background and we get a clear idea of where you are and what your coaching goals are. We do a needs/wants analysis and some practical exercises may be done to move you forward. If you wish to have coaching, you sign a coaching agreement. Session 1: Through coaching exercises your thinking and approach to work will be explored in greater depth. We look at how the various areas in your life interlock to find good access points for the desired changes. New perspectives may be elicited, challenges may be set for you, and post-coaching assignments agreed. Sessions 2–10: You continue developing new thinking and techniques, while we work on eliminating emerging blocks and exploiting unused opportunities. You are encouraged to reflect differently on your work, and to find new solutions that are of your own devising. Specific tools may also be taught to advance your abilities in the direction of your goals. In session 10 we review progress and factor the results into our planning for the final two sessions. Sessions 11–12: We review what you have learned and used, and identify how you can continue to advance in your desired direction. We can also develop more plans to direct you as you move on.
